PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Mr. Costagliola is currently a Managing Director of MCDRS, a consulting firm specializing in management consulting and litigation support. At Beach and Company, as a Principal Consultant, Mr. Costagliola led the engineering and construction management consulting and litigation support practice. In this capacity he has represented major industry clients and contractors in complex contract litigation, engineering and construction disputes in arbitration and litigation, and in the preparation and defense of claims. His background in finance and contract administration combined with his extensive experience in engineering procurement and construction projects and his administrative roles in engineering and construction contracting companies, give him a unique and firm background to help our clients in these areas.
 

As a corporate officer and project director with major engineering contractors and an operating company, he has been responsible for the design, engineering, procurement and construction of world scale hydrocarbon processing plants. He has managed grassroots projects, as well as revamp projects and conceptual studies . At ABB Lummus, he managed projects in the power, refining and petrochemical industries. Responsibilities have included the administration of Project Directors and Project Managers and direct Project Management. Mr. Costagliola also lead a litigation team of attorneys, consulting experts of various disciplines as well as ABB employee specialists, assembled to defend a lawsuit involving a major construction project for which ABB Lummus served as the general contractor. 
 

Mr. Costagliola has been involved in all aspects of engineering and construction projects, including administration, marketing, project management, construction management, technical development program management, design, estimating, scheduling and cost control. Projects he has managed and been involved with over the course of his career include the following:
